Huawei's All-IP CDMA Network Solution Deployed by India's Tata
February 22, 2008
Chinese telecom equipment supplier Huawei announced on February 19 that the company has successfully deployed its All-IP CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) solution for the commercial network of Tata Indicom, a major telecom service provider in India. The deployment project was completed in a span of six months, according to Chinese-language Xinhua News.

Tata selected Huawei's network solution and radio access equipment to substitute for its existing network in Delhi, Kolkata, and other major cities. The deployment is expected to facilitate Tata's 3G technology development and help the company reach the goal of 100 million subscribers by 2011.
